Membership Dues

The club relies on membership dues to cover operating expenses, including buying food for parties and events, funding prizes for various competitions, and paying our annual liability insurance policy.

Membership renewals are due every January. According to club by-laws (Article I, Section 3), "Non-payment of dues by February 1 of the current year shall constitute resignation and require reapplication for membership." We are very lenient on this policy, but early payment is always encouraged. New memberships after July 1st, are prorated for the current year following the table below.

New divers who have been certified for less than six months receive first year membership free. Your membership application must be submitted within six months of receiving your Open Water certification, from any industry recognized certifying agency.

Making Payments

For your convenience, you can now pay your membership dues quickly and easily online with most major credit cards. Just choose the type of membership (Individual/Family) and the year you are paying for (2012/2013). You'll be taken to PayPal's secure website to complete the transaction. If you would like your membership card(s) mailed to you then enter a valid mailing address in the "Special Instructions" field during checkout.

How to Join

Fill out a Membership Application and Member Liability Release form, and bring them to our next meeting with your annual dues. For convenience you can fill out these forms with Adobe Reader 8 or higher and email them to atomicduck@pocketinet.com, or any club officer. Keep in mind that the liability release form must be printed and signed, and dues paid before participating in any club dives.

Membership is open to anyone with an Open Water SCUBA certification. Club dues are $35 per year for an individual, and $50 for a family. We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!
