Our primary goal is to encourage the enjoyment of the sport of SCUBA diving.

To promote diving, the club intends to organize group dives not only in the Tri city area but also throughout the country, according to the individual members' interests.

The club also intends to organize social events outside of dive weekends so that newcomers will be able to meet new "buddies" and enjoy the company of their fellow divers.

We would also like to periodically team up with fellow SCUBA clubs, such as the Yakima Dive Club in order to network and enjoy the sport with others.

In teaming up with other organizations, we intend to participate in community service projects such as river cleanup dive.

In order to ensure the continuation of SCUBA diving with The Atomic Duck Dive Club, the club will act as a means by which interested students can get information on how to obtain their certification through local dive shops. UNDERSEA ADVENTURES, KENNEWICK

We plan on maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship with local dive shops. In exchange for discounts on equipment, and air fills for our members, the club will refer potential as well as certified divers to those shops.

One of the most important parts of SCUBA diving is safety. We would like to make safety awareness an integral part of our club. By encouraging safe diving practices through the "buddy system," we ensure that our members can safely enjoy SCUBA diving.

Benefits of Membership

Membership in the Atomic Ducks includes a number of benefits, other than participation in club
activities. Members receive discounts on many products and classes offered at our local dive shop. USA and our club also offers members free admission to seminars, this is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and increase your safety. Air fills are available at the Dive Shop with costs well below any other shop in the Northwest (must have a current membership card for fills). Each member also receives a membership card, monthly newsletter, a club patch, a membership roster to help locate dive buddies, and affordable diver trips. Club Tee shirts, jackets, sweat shirts are available for purchase.

How to Join?

Come to our next meeting! Submit an Application! (Open to anyone with an Open Water SCUBA certification.) Club dues are currently $35 per year for an individual, and $50 for a family. You must be a certified diver, and when you sign the application, you agree that all activities are undertaken at your own risk. SCUBA diving is a potentially dangerous sport which requires training a personal responsibility. We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting.
