Recovering the Miss Merion Bluegrass

September, 1965

Tri-City skindivers posed with an expensive seven-litre hydroplane - Miss Merion Bluegrass -which they found yesterday at the bottom of the  Columbia River. The big hydro, owned by Earl Wham, Spokane, sank during the Tri-City Water Follies Regatta a month ago. Pictured were, from left, Ray Sinclair, Ed Hogan, John Gaskill, Gene Watrin and Paul Knight. All ex- cept Watrin are members of the Atomic Ducks Diving Club.
